A Special Message to Leaders

“You are worth it.”

I encourage you to speak that (out loud even) over yourself. How does it land in your heart? Possibly you can embrace it in certain areas, but not in others. Maybe it touches you at a deeper level, one where words are hard to come by to describe. Wherever you find yourself, I want to encourage you in one, very specific area. As a leader, “You are worth it”.

Leadership, at its core, is not a position. We each lead others in some way, much of the time without recognition or even position. What’s more, leading others requires more than any of us have in personal skill and ability and instead needs intentional growth through investing in yourself. More simply, equipping yourself becomes the path to leadership growth and improvement not just for yourself, but more importantly, for those you impact as you lead.

Investing in yourself as a leader is one of the greatest gifts you can embrace for your own journey through life. But, like exercise for your body, it doesn’t “just happen” in the course of your day. Rather, it starts with a decision that you want and need more than you presently have in principles, mindsets, skills and attitudes. Purposeful equipping, or an investment in yourself for future growth and improvement, then becomes an important action to pursue.

I would be honored to help with this investment. Taking the 45+ years of my personal leadership experience, I have personally developed an equipping training that can provide significant, meaningful and impactful principles and values towards becoming what I call a relational leader of impact. Included are how these principles and values affect your vision, decision-making, and relational interactions as a leader, no matter the environment you are a part of. In addition, I can also provide other levels of training after completion of this overview for both a deeper treatment of each core principle and more strategizing of a personal growth plan towards strengthening each within your life.

I offer this training either personally as a one-on-one mentoring training, or if a group would like to take it together, I can lead group equipping sessions.
