What We Create for Others

We all, without exception, awake with a daily truth — what kind of experience will I help create today for others around me? Will I affirm life-giving hope or something less? Will I look for the wonder around me and point it out to others? Will I speak of others with respect for their journey, especially when different from mine?

As a sampling of “Will I’s”, they all point to one simple idea — I have life for others in my hands. For it to touch others, though, it must be given away.

I suspect you know what I mean. You yourself have received life from others. Its effect upon your life was more than just what you could measure…it likely made a difference you couldn’t get to on your own. That’s the point. We need one another, and this is one of the gifts we have to offer.

Knowing and having others in our lives is a gift. May we see one another more and more in this manner and share the life in our hands.
